Opera78 is a design board established in 2005 by Fiodor SUMKIN, illustrator and designer based in Amsterdam and Paris. His works have been published in Playboy, Roling Stones and New York Times.

At the age of 16 I started working with Photoshop on a Macintosh. I started at quite a young age, but didn’t achieve any great success. Maybe that’s the reason why I truly respect illustrators who create their artworks using only digital media. We live in a great time, which gives us a choice whether to work with an Inc Gel Pen on paper, or with a Wacom tablet and Painter or Photoshop.
