Photographer Chris Hyver has known Matthew for a few years and wanted to show Matthew in his rawest form. This shoot was the fifth time that they’ve collaborated and Chris wanted to make it special. He wanted the world to see as he really is.

Matthew recently shot a commercial spot for Doritos, that he not only starred in but also helped concept and create with an amazing team of talented individuals for the “Crash The Superbowl” contest. Matthew shows many sides of his career from acting roles in film, TV, stage and commercials to the modeling world. He goes from sexy and seductive to the quirky guy next door proving to be both business savvy and chameleon like in both his on camera work and in front of the photographers lens.

The inspiration is The Name of the Rose, it is a very open interpretation of that book, about the macabre vs the religious. The dye on the hands of Andre represents the poisoned ink on the sacred books.
